Free open days! Visit the Micro Belgian Fries Museum at Home Frit’ Home on Saturday, 2 May (1:30 PM–6:30 PM) and Sunday, 3 May (1:30 PM–6:00 PM). Let yourself be surprised by the tasty stories of fries, illustrated by more than 1,000 objects, documents, and creations. Join us for the closing of the "Frittenfantasie" exhibition, in the presence of the painter Hans Stein.

Located in Forest (Rue des Alliés 242, 1190 Brussels), the Micro «Belgian Fries» Museum is an intimate, passion-driven space dedicated to local “Fritkot Culture.” Through its unique collection, Home Frit’ Home tells the story of the fry, its myths, its chip-shop keepers, and its friendly appearances in humour, art, and everyday life. A fry-TV and a mini “frituur cinema” (reports, short films...) add to the charm of curator and “fritologist” Hugues Henry, guiding you through this crispy, tender, and truly Belgian universe!

Hans-Eberhard Stein harbors a passion for fries and Belgium! These two stand at the center of his work, where they intersect with fish, beers, lemons, glasses of water, pigeons, and more—simple beauties of everyday life. Alongside his oil paintings on canvas and cardboard, Hans Stein creates three-dimensional triptychs, an innovative technique that echoes his scenography practice.
The closing event for "Frittenfantasie," Hans-Eberhard Stein's first exhibition in Belgium, will take place at Home Frit' Home on Sunday, May 3rd (1:30 PM - 6:00 PM), in partnership with Cuvée des Trolls from the Dubuisson brewery!
